High-Resolution Ultra-Wideband Radar Imaging using Kirchhoff Integral and F-K Migration with Boundary Scattering Transform

چکیده
This paper introduces a fast high-resolution imaging algorithm designed for ultra-wideband radar, and combines modified Kirchhoff migration and frequency-wavenumber (F-K) migration. The proposed algorithm also uses the texture method and inverse boundary scattering transform to calculate efficiently the integral arising in modified Kirchhoff migration, and thus enabling the integral in the F-K domain to be calculated within a short time.

Dielectric Constant and Boundary Extraction Method for Double-Layered Dielectric Object for UWB Radars
Microwave ultra-wideband (UWB) radar systems are advantageous for their high-range resolution and ability to penetrate dielectric objects. Internal imaging of dielectric objects by UWB radar is a promising nondestructive method of testing aging roads and bridges and a noninvasive technique for human body examination. For these applications, we have already developed an accurate internal imaging...
متن کاملA 2-D Image Stabilization Algorithm for UWB Pulse Radars with Fractional Boundary Scattering Transform
The UWB (ultra-wideband) pulse radar is a promising candidate as an environment measurement method for rescue robots. Radar imaging to locate a nearby target is known as an ill-posed inverse problem, on which various studies have been done. However, conventional algorithms require long computational time, which makes it difficult to apply them to real-time operations of robots. We have proposed...
متن کاملHigh-Resolution 3-D Radar Imaging through Nonuniform Fast Fourier Transform (NUFFT)
This paper applies a 3-D nonuniform fast Fourier transform (NUFFT) migration method to image both free-space and buried targets from data collected by a ultra-wideband ground penetrating radar (GPR) system. The method incorporates the NUFFT algorithm into 3-D phase shift migration to evaluate the inverse Fourier transform more accurately and more efficiently than the conventional migration meth...
متن کامل3-Dimensional Imaging and Motion Estimation Method of Multiple Moving Targets for Multi-Static UWB Radar Using Target Point and Its Normal Vector
Radar systems using ultra-wideband (UWB) signals have definitive advantages in high range resolution. These are suitable for accurate 3-dimensional (3-D) sensing by rescue robots operating in disaster zone settings, where optical sensing is not applicable because of thick smog or high-density gas. For such applications, where no a priori information of target shape and position is given, an acc...
متن کامل3D imaging by fast deconvolution algorithm in short-range UWB radar for concealed weapon detection
A fast imaging algorithm for real-time use in short-range (ultra-wideband) radar with synthetic or real-array aperture is proposed. The reflected field is presented here as a convolution of the target reflectivity and point spread function (PSF) of the imaging system. To obtain a focused 3D image, the proposed algorithm deconvolves the PSF out from the acquired data volume with high speed due t...
